Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Black Pearl Art Academy, we understand that plans can change. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be clear and fair while allowing us to properly plan for our courses, events, and customers.
Courses & Classes
All courses and classes are paid in full at the time of booking.
Because spaces are limited and preparations are made in advance, course payments are non-refundable. However, we offer course credit based on the timing of your cancellation:
48 hours or more before your course: You will receive 100% course credit toward a future course.
Less than 48 hours before your course: No refund or course credit will be provided.
No-shows: No refund or course credit will be provided.
Course credit is not redeemable for cash and must be used within two (2) months from the date it is issued. Credit is subject to availability and may only be used toward an eligible future course.
Events & Private Bookings
A 50% deposit is required to secure and confirm your event or private booking.
The 50% deposit is non-refundable once paid. This deposit secures your date and covers the preparation and planning required for your event.
The remaining 50% balance is due on the day of the event.
If you need to cancel after your deposit has been paid, the deposit will be retained. If Black Pearl Art Academy cancels your event, we will work with you to provide a rescheduled date, credit, or refund, as appropriate.
Shop & Gallery Purchases
Purchases from our shop and gallery are generally final sale.
For eligible items that have not yet been collected or delivered, cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled collection or delivery may be eligible for store credit.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before collection or delivery are not eligible for a refund or store credit, except where required by applicable law.
Art Supplies & Paintings
All sales are final for art supplies, original paintings, artwork, and other merchandise.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, or failure to collect an item.
This policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable Bermuda law, including rights relating to goods or services that do not meet applicable legal requirements.

If Black Pearl Art Academy needs to cancel a course, class, or event, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and work with you to provide a rescheduled date, credit, or refund, as appropriate.
